On the eve of National Day, September 30, Haihui and trainees at a not-for-profit beauty workshop held by Wuhan Love Professional Skills Training Center (WLPSTC) came to Wuguo community on Zhongnan Street in Wuhan to provide free services to the elderly. With passion and devotion, the volunteers used their knowledge and skills to provide hair and facial care for the elderly in that community.
The trainees trimmed each resident's hair with skillful and exquisite technique. They rolled up female residents’ hair, clipped their nails and penciled their eyebrows. They also chatted with them. The residents felt warm and gave thumbs up to the trainees, being grateful for their service.
This care service given by us and the trainees from WLPSTC’s beauty workshop is an example of our way to give back to the society. By doing good, we spread beauty. In the meantime, what we did benefited the elderly in Wuguo community. We made them happier.
